Domain Registration and Hosting

A Domain Name is the unique name by which your company website is known on the

Internet. For example, ours is www.webwhoosh.co.uk.

To ensure that people don't use the same names, the Domain Name needs to be

registered with the organisation which manages this process. Your registration will

last for two years, and then needs to be renewed. Renewal costs a nominal fee; typically

£2 to £3. We will arrange the registration of your domain name, and also renewal if you

wish for a nominal charge.

Hosting is the name for the service which delivers your website to the Internet; the

computers, networks and data which allow people to find and look at your website. We

use a professional hosting service which provides good performance and reliability.

Your first year of hosting is included within the price. Subsequent years cost

£99 per annum ex VAT, which includes any minor changes required after the first years

operation.
